This Weeks Training w/e 10/20

22 Oct

This has been a good week for training, although it did turn a little hot towards the end of the week.

Monday was a light recovery run and I needed it after the long run last week. I just did my Southern Hills loop and felt tired and sluggish. Tuesday was a bike day with hill repeats with Tony. I felt strong on the ride back doing 22 mph down the parkway. Wednesday was an early morning sunrise/moonset run. I guess 7 miles will be the limit on a workday as I run out of time. I did take a day off on Thursday giving myself a little extra sleep, yup I slept in for a change! Friday was another weekday easy tempo run and Saturday was a ride with the Flatlanders. Sunday saw my long run. I choose to run to the bridge that Tony and I use for hill repeats and back. It was almost exactly 10 miles. I did have to stop for water at the 7/11, it was that hot.

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday totals
Run 2 miles 7 miles 7 miles 10 miles 26 miles
Bike Hill repeat
(16 miles)
25 Miles 31 miles
Swim none

This week’s long run will be Saturday as I do the Habitat for Humanity Raise the Roof 15k
