Tuesday Evening Concert

20 Feb

Once a month our community has a concert. Yup, an open air concert. The golf course driving range is transformed into a dance area, seating area and bar.

The band this month was The Chicago Mob, a cover band made up of baby boomers. But what a great sound they had and played from 5 till 8. Long enough for the sun to set and the evening breeze off the gulf to kick in.

We invited our friends, Steve and Rose to join us.

I made a picnic basket full of great stuff, pepperoni cheese corn muffins, chicken paninis, tortellini and artichoke salad and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. (Sorry, I forgot to take a picture).

What a great night to listen to old favorites and dance the night away!
