The Plan

6 Oct

Failing to plan is planing to fail.

So here is the plan.

Monday will be a recovery day from the long weekend ride and run so an easy run one week and an easy bike the next. Swim in the afternoon but again easy.

Tuesday will be a run of 5 miles and swim in the afternoon. The alternating week Bike of 20 -25 mile and a swim I the afternoon

Wednesday will be a bike of 20-25 miles followed by a swim in the afternoon. The alt week will be a run 5-7 miles.

Thursday is my usual day of rest but I hope to include some time in the weight room and perhaps some stand up paddleboarding.

Friday is a Bike of 20-25 miles and a swim in the afternoon with the alt week a run of 5-7 miles.

Saturday is the long run day, 10 miles or more with alt week of an open water swim in the Gulf.

Sunday is a long ride day with a min of 30 miles.

Totals
Week 1. Run 15 Bike 90 Swim 4xs and 1 weight training
Week 2. Run 15 bike 70 Swim 5xs and 1 weight training.

So that is the schedule for October. November will bring some bricks (bike followed by a run) and some longer runs.

QUESTION OF THE DAY

Do you follow a training plan?  Do you write your own plan or does your coach plan your workouts?
