Long Weekend

9 Feb

I had Friday off and we drove to The Happiest Place on Earth to pick up my son, daughter in law and my 5 year old grandson. They stayed with us for the weekend, leaving late Sunday night.

We got to the house late Friday night, so it was an early bedtime. Saturday was just a relaxing morning with Eli playing with “old school” toys.

After all these years kids still find the old toys fun. Then it was pool time.

In the evening I planned a picnic dinner on the beach. On the way we stopped at Momentum Brewery to check it out.

Josh and I both had a tasting flight, I had Pierce’s Pale, White Noise and a Stout.

After buying a growler for later, it was on to the beach and sunset.

Of course Eli had to get his feet wet.

Sunday we took our community’s shuttle to Lover’s Key State Park so Eli could find some sea shells.

Then it was back to the house with some spa time and Pierce’s Pale from Momentum Brewery.

Then a golf cart ride.

So they left last nite to go to the frozen waste land in the northern USA.

How was you weekend?
