Good Bye May, Let’s Go June

May was not the best of months for me training wise.  I missed 4 days due to illness, the flu/cold that seem to hold on forever and 4 days for our trip to New Jersey for my Grandson’s confirmation. Couple those missed training days with 2 days off, I had 21 days of training.  The totals for the month were Bike 240 miles and run 54 miles.

I did cook a few good meals, like this Spinach Frittata

  and this Group with Ratatouille over Penne

or this Spinach Ravioli with Articokes

and of course this Parmesan Crust Cod with Risotto Milanese and Steamed Asparagus

J and I went to New Jersey for our grandson’s confirmation.

We went to lunch on the boat on Memorial Day.


So I guess all in all May wasn’t all that bad, except for the flu/cold that still lingers.

June looks to be a good month, I’m planning to increase my long bike to  60 miles and my long run to 14 miles.
