Snow Day

Palm Garden Arbor

We didn’t get any snow, like our friends and family up north and while it wasn’t as bad as snow, a week ago we did have a severe storm go thru.  There were high winds, 60 mph, and heavy rain.  Streets were flooded and trees limbs littered the streets.  I was at work when it hit.  While looking out my desk window I saw a wooden bench floating down the canal!  When I got home, after going through flood waters, I found the arbor down and in pieces.

Yesterday, while the north was getting pounded with snow and cold,  J had a ladies tea to attend, I think it was just an excuse for the ladies to drink champagne, so while she was gone, I worked on the new arbor.  It wasn’t until late in the afternoon, after work was done, that I got my beer.

I don’t know if you’re even allowed to drink Winter Lager if you have no winter! You need to come up north, then you can have some 😉
Glad to see you’re doing well, oldman!

We do have winter, it’s been real cold here! Well below 70*. But hey, anytime is a good time to drink Winter Lager.

    Good to hear from you!
